Izak was born and raised in Manly, NSW before moving to Valla Beach, NSW – where he began boxing at age 11. He wasted no time and had his first amateur bout by age 12. He had numerous bouts all over NSW, QLD and TAS, winning interstate titles, state titles and national golden gloves twice. Izak loves boxing because of its raw nature, discipline and individuality – there’s no relying on teammates, it’s just you and what you put in to it.
